Affordable Connectivity Program Announced by FCC

Wireline Competition Bureau launches application landing page.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced a new Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) landing page is available through the GetInternet government website. This site also provides information about eligibility for enrollment in the internet program through the Wireline Competition Bureau.

This program now reaches more than 17 million households, and the FCC stated it “has saved eligible consumers hundreds of millions of dollars per month… by providing a discount of up to $30 per month toward Internet service for households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.”

The FCC, as directed by Congress, continues to make strides in creating policies that assist in bringing reliable, affordable, high-speed broadband across the nation.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Chair Jessica Rosenworcel to seek God’s guidance as she oversees the FCC.
  • For members of the commission as they support the effort to supply internet access to low-income households.
  • For Chief Trent Harkrader as he heads the FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau.
